External keyboard won't connect to your iPad
Make sure the keyboard is in pairing mode and fully charged, then go to Settings → Bluetooth on your iPad and select the keyboard from the list. If it's already paired, unpair it and pair it again.
iPad keyboards connect through Bluetooth. If your keyboard won't connect, the keyboard is off, not in pairing mode, or too far away. Unpairing and repairing fixes the connection.
