External webcam microphone not being detected or no audio
Your webcam microphone is not being recognized. First, unplug the camera, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in to reconnect it. Then go to sound settings and select the webcam microphone as your input device. If it still doesn't work, the driver needs updating.
When a webcam microphone stops being detected, it's because the connection got interrupted or the driver needs updating. The microphone is part of the same USB device as the camera. We will reconnect it, select it in sound settings, and update the driver if needed.
