Function keys (Fn) not working on your laptop
Function keys are usually disabled by a setting in your keyboard driver or BIOS. We'll toggle the Function key mode and update your keyboard driver — this fixes it in most cases.
Some laptops have Function Lock (Fn Lock) enabled, which makes the F-keys behave as special hotkeys instead of true Function keys. We'll check if that setting is on and toggle it off. If it's not a setting, we'll update your keyboard driver which often re-enables Function key support.
- ✓Have your laptop powered on and ready
- ✓Be prepared to restart once after updating drivers
