Contacts not syncing between your phone and email
Your phone contacts and email contacts sync through the same account. Make sure your email account is added to your phone with contact sync turned on. On iPhone, go to Settings → Contacts → Accounts → tap your email account → turn on Contacts. On Android, go to Settings → Accounts → tap your email → turn on Contacts.
Phone contacts and email contacts are the same thing if they're on the same account (Google, Apple, or Microsoft). If they're different, either contact sync is off, you're saving phone contacts locally instead of to your email account, or the email account isn't added to your phone with contacts enabled.
