iPhone Night mode not turning on in low light
Night mode doesn't show up when there's enough light or when your phone is moving. Hold your phone steady and point it at a dark area. The icon will appear automatically. If it's grayed out, your iPhone cannot support Night mode.
iPhone Night mode requires very low light and a steady phone to work. When you hold it steady in the dark, the icon automatically appears. If it never appears or stays grayed out, your phone model cannot have Night mode or it needs a software update.
