Headset only plays sound in one ear
Check the audio balance setting in your OS is centered (not pushed all the way left or right). Then make sure the headset jack is fully plugged in. If one ear still has no sound, check if the cable is damaged.
Single-ear audio comes from an audio balance setting turned all the way to one side or a loose jack. Centering the balance and firmly reconnecting the jack fixes most of these in seconds.
