Number pad on your keyboard stopped working
Your Num Lock is off. Press the Num Lock key in the top left corner of the number pad, and the light will come on. This fixes it for most users in seconds.
The number pad has its own on and off switch called Num Lock. When Num Lock is off, those keys don't work. Pressing Num Lock turns them back on and the light shows you the status.
