Wireless mouse keeps disconnecting every few minutes

Wireless mice disconnect from low batteries, weak Bluetooth signal, or device interference. Check the battery level first. Low batteries are the primary cause. If batteries are fine, move the mouse closer to your computer and turn off other Bluetooth devices.

Wireless mice use either Bluetooth or a USB receiver to talk to your computer. When that connection is weak or interrupted, the mouse cuts out and has to reconnect. Low batteries, distance, and other wireless devices all cause disconnections. The fix is simple. Fresh batteries, move closer, or turn off competing Bluetooth devices.
