Charged twice for the same purchase

First check if one charge says 'Pending'. Pending charges are temporary holds that disappear in a few days and aren't real double charges. If both charges say 'Posted' or 'Completed', contact the seller with your order number and ask them to refund the duplicate.

Double charges happen when a payment goes through twice — either because the page glitched, you tapped the pay button twice, or the payment system processed it twice by mistake. Before you panic, check if one charge is 'Pending'. Those disappear on their own. If both are real, the seller can refund the duplicate within a few days.

Risk: Medium ⏱ 5–10 minutes to report, 3–5 business days for refund Beginner
