Refund approved but money hasn't shown up yet
Refunds take 3–5 business days to appear after the company processes them. If it's been less than 5 business days, the money is still on the way.
When a company refunds you, they send the money back to the card or account you originally paid with. But the money doesn't arrive instantly — your bank takes time to receive and process it. This takes 3–5 business days, and weekends and holidays make it longer. If it's been more than 2 weeks, something went wrong and the company needs to re-send the refund.
- ✓Find the refund confirmation email from the company — you'll need the date it was approved
- ✓Have your bank or credit card statement open so you can check for the refund
- ✓Know which card or payment method you used for the original purchase — the refund goes back to that one
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step, just tap, no typing needed.
Skip, I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Checking the wrong card — the refund goes to the card you originally paid with, which is not your main card if you used a different one for the original purchase
- Not waiting long enough — 3–5 business days is normal, and weekends don't count
- Thinking the refund failed when it's still processing — give it the full 5 business days first
