Free trial charged you without warning

Free trials convert to paid subscriptions automatically when they end — that's how they work. Cancel the subscription right now in your account settings to stop future charges, then contact the company and ask for a refund. Most companies will refund the first charge if you ask within a few days.

When you signed up for the free trial and entered your payment details, you agreed to automatic billing when the trial ends. Companies don't always send a clear reminder before the charge hits. The good news is you can cancel straight away and most companies will refund the first charge if you ask quickly.
